Newbie with 6300. Can I use transvertor input as Rx antenna input?

I've just bought a 6300. Arriving Monday. I already have a 1500. I use a Wellbrook Loop for Rx and end fed wire for Tx. 1500 is fine with this. I must not transmit into loop! Can I set transvertor input socket as Rx ONLY on 6300? Thanks Roy. G3VDS Have just seen earlier post from Salvador which tells me how to do it. Thanks. I can't wait to get my hands on this radio !!

Roy,  Yes, you can use the transverter IN for a RX antenna.

Thanks Bill. I wonder if anyone knows the isolation figures. I had no trouble with 1500 but there's 20x the power !

I don't know if there's published figures.  I have used the xvtr in jack for RX antenna since I got a flex a couple of years ago - first with a 6300, and later with my 6700.  I have run 100 watts, less when I use my amplifier.  Never a problem.  Good luck and have fun with it.

Roy I have close receive antennas, a ewe and pennant, run an Acom 1000 on the 6300, flawless, never an issue on the xvtr port.
