New Videos on YouTube

Hi All

Over the past few weeks, I have created the following YouTube videos.  Some of these are for new users and some for our experienced users, like the DAX and CAT one.

Personally, I think our CAT Software is an industry game changer.   Unlike other HF radios, you are not stuck with just 1 RS232 port for your programs to access the radios band and frequency data.   Couple that with the CAT data that is available right out of the back of the radio.

If you find these useful, please let us know.

Our FlexRadio channel - you will want to subscribe to this:

Upgrade SmartSDR on an M Model - the steps required to change the software on your M model radio (internet connection required):

Upgrading SmartSDR on  PC from v2 to V3 (or higher) including how to pay for the new software:

Applying SmartSDR Maintenance:

Networking a Flex 6000 Series radio - key if you want to run SmartLink:

SmartSDR CAT and DAX - in depth overview - welcome to more than 1 RS232 port for CAT control:

Applications that work with Flex Radios - some really cool programs:

If you have any questions or need any additional videos that might help with support case deflection, please let me know.

Please update the Works With Flex video.  A lot has happened since Dec 2018. There are some new apps and hardware that work with Flex that greatly extend the functionality of the radio and enhances the user experience.  Stream Deck and Touch Portal integration with FRStack and FRLogger makes touch control panels possible.  This is a game changer !

Good morning Mike, Finally got time to look at all of the videos. Really great for those folks who are able to do these things. I was surprised at the one titled Networking a Flex 6000 Series Radio because it is exactly as I have it running Win 7 and SSDR 2.4.9. See no reason to upgrade.
The only reason I have SSDR on board is so that I can use the Flex Control and Mouse to run around the big monitor. Have tried several items with in SSDR and all failed. OH Well.
