New PGXL - No Cord, No Manual?

I just spent a small fortune on a PGXL.   It seems to have arrived safely, but was surprised that with the exception of the amplifier, it was a completely empty box!    No power cord, no start-up guide, no manual, no warranty card, no receipt.     What did you others get with yours??   ... and dont tell me to call them, I tried that and nobody answers the phone ;)

    Hi Mike

Yes, there should have been a cord and  I believe a Quick Start Guide.  If you can email orders@flex-radio.com they will take care of you.

The full manual can be found in the downloads area.

I saw you call, but we were all on the phone when you called and we are so sorry.  We do not put people on hold when the phone rings.

https://www.flexradio.com/downloads/ and look for PGXL (it is hard to copy the direct link)

I can't do much about the cord at the moment.  However, a regular computer cord will get you going, at least at 1/2 power until we get you the heavy duty cord.

Thanks Mike,  I will send the email.  I guess I was missing whatever is the "standard package" as it didnt include anything.

    Hi Mike

I just heard back from Katie.  She put one in an overnight courier for you.  You should get it Monday.

I have 6 Amplifiers in my shack now, and a handful of others I have already sold/trade.  I have to admit,  this PGXL and it's integration with SmartSDR is really cool!!!

Mike I think you will be impressed when you get it working. The integration is excellent mine has been flawless. My only issue has been the loudness of the fans. Ian Km4cqg

Not really.  The factory cord is 14 AWG with C13 connector too.  Which surprised me at first, but have not heard of any problems.

Mike, if you go with the factory cord, it only comes with the C13 connector for the amp side, and you'll have to get your own NEMA plug for the other end.

Since the amp cannot draw more than 10 amps, 14 AWG is properly rated for the amp.
