I have a brand new 6300 to replace my old 3000 today. I am seeing problems with graphics generally including jumping panadapter and waterfall. The PC is running Win 7 and is a 4.2GHz AMD 4170 Quad Core processor with 8GB RAM and a AMD Radeon HD5450 graphics card.

Using a hardware monitor I am seeing very high GPU usage (80% +)

The radio is connected directly to a port on my Sky Router which the PC Is also connected to via cabled connection.

I didnt see this kind of issue when running PowerSDR and the Flex-3000 via firewire.

I'd be very grateful for advise - if a new graphics card is suggested what should I get?

Hi Mark, I have seen some indication that a fix will be included in the next release of Smartsdr,
I have also seen that some people have reverted to earlier version and that has cured the problem
in the meantime. My own performed better with an earlier release of graphics card drivers but may not necessarily work with other setups.
Try an earlier version of Smartsdr and see if that helps
    Cheers

Try dropping the FPS value in the display menu - that will reduce the GPU load.
