Need to get info on interfacing a ALS-1306 to a Flex-6500. Cable pin outs and DDUtil configuration.

This is a question best posed to the DDUtil Yahoo group. There are a number of users with Ameritron amps.

As Steve said check in with the DDUtil Yahoo group.
I do not have the 1306 but from what I heard you need the Ameritron DB-DB7DK cable. Since this is designed to connect to the CAT port on a Kenwood rig, you will also need a null modem adapter on the "radio" end. It will connect to a physical com port on the PC and then in DDUtil you should be able to configure one of the repeater ports for that physical com port.
The amp band switch would need to be placed in the REMOTE position.
