Hi everyone,

I have been interested in reading the comments about the new models being introduced. I fully expect any technologically adept company to continue to make improvements and refine models. If they don’t, they won’t stay in business. Rather than resent new and better products, I look forward to them.

I don't think anyone is resenting the fact that the new products are coming out. I too think it is great. I think it is more a feeling of abandonment. Version 1 is feature frozen with it still having bugs in it and features that were supposed to be incorporated were not. I think that is what the issue is. I have a 6600m reserved.

Steve, as Gerald said today, it came down to deciding what features to go with, and depending the man hours to do so, but the choices did not make everyone happy, like yourself.
He also said that bugs and performance issues will continue to be worked on.

we all knew V1 was coming to an end, so no surprise there. now we are in V2 that will work on all 6000 radio's. so the 6300 and the 6500 will get the same updates, feature sets we can buy or not.
