My Maestro's frequency readout displays unusual frequencies

If I turn my "vfo" knob even just slightly fast the frequency readout is wrong and it shows very unusual and almost random frequencies. e.g. 7.190.476 or 7.330.178 even though I set the tuning step to whole or larger steps such as 10, 50, 100, 500, 1khz, steps etc etc. it does t matter what the tuning step is, if I turn the known faster than about 1rpm it goes from normal to unusual/unpredictable integers of frequency. Both A and B knobs. All bands. Wifi and direct Ethernet. Battery and direct DC power. I am running my 6700 with latest sdr of 1.7.3

    We need more info.

    1. What frequency are you starting at?
2.) What intermediate frequencies are you seeing?
3.) What is the ending frequency displayed after the fast knob spin?

The display will not show all frequencies displayed in a linear fashion when knob tuning acceleration is active due to rapid rotation.  If the Maestro performed discreet tuning operations for every frequency step between the starting and ending frequency, tuning would be very sluggish.

BINGO! That was it! I must admit I did actually download the operating manual but my cursory search did not help me diagnose this particular problem. Thanks to all who helped. I just can't wait for version 2.0 for WAN. That's the only reason I bought the Marstro.
