Hi Baz,
Can you post a screen shot so we can compare it to what we see?

There is a request to improve the readability of the SWR and POWER scales. There are some screen shots in the post and may help you determine if yours are similiar. You can check it out here:

Baz, if you hit the OK button, does it go to normal brightness? You can adjust brightness with the up/down buttons on radio.

If the OK and up/down buttons do not change brightness then the display module has a problem. My friend needed his repaired.

Open a Help desk ticket if the above does not fix your issue.

Hi Dave,
How do you get the SWR and POWER to show on the radio display?

I thought Baz was referring to the SWR and POWER display on the SSDR software.

Baz,
If you would like to see the scales improved, you can add your comments to the idea (link above) and also add your vote to the idea.

Remember, don't read emails at 2 a.m.
I only read the first line of the subject. Guess I need to pay attention more!

My friend did have an issue with the dim display on the radio so that's why I replied.

As fae as the power and SWR meter - there is no brightness or contrast adjustment in SmartSDR. But you can try adjusting brightness and contrast on the monitor slightly. Most displays are not adjusted properly out of the box.

I do think they could tweak the colors of the meters to add some contrasr.

Sorry for the misleading post :-)
