Multiflex: Stop Maestro from loading, Cannot connect computer, works doesn't work - disconnect othe

Ever since version 3, I have trouble with the Maestro and the SmartSDR on computer.

My system is not set up for smartlink - Don't want it for now.  The computer and the radio are on the same home network. I can ping the radio from the computer.    I have a picture of the computer with SmartSDR / Dax / Cat saying "no radios available" right next to the flex that is running.

I want an easy way to disconnect  / exit / logoff the 6600M Maestro from the front panel and from the SDR.  Please tell me it exists.  Please don't tell me to do something before connecting to the radio because I can do nothing (on the computer) because I get the three windows.

The SDR keeps having issues every time the Maestro is running.  If it is not, normally no problem.

Also, under version 3, in spite of having global profiles set, the "transmit" keeps transferring back and forth.

Treg, the ping is a good sign.

You do not need to use SmartLink nor sign-in to SmartLink for local LAN operations.

Wondering why SmartSDR on your PC cannot see the 6600M?  In there something running like a firewall or a device that could be blocking ports to configure?

How is addressing handled on your network (thinking a conflict)?

Did you have all this working (same radio, same network, same PC) with v2.4.9?

Has the PC with SmartLink worked at all with version 3? (Which one BTW?)

I think you're close to getting it sorted.

I do not use SmartLink, yet that is the only choice that comes up sometimes.  I have to reboot the computer and the flex to get them to connect and that does not always work.

The computer and  flex are both on the same router / wireless.  If there were a conflict, I get a notice.  There is not one.

Yes, they have been working on 2.4.9.  Yes, the PC worked with all the version 3's but every time they (the computer and the Maestro) boot up, I have issues.

I just want to be able to select the Maestro and disconnect it.

The only way to do it now is to disconnect the computer, use SDR to the Maestro and disconnect that, use the SDR to go back to the computer and suddenly the Connect shows up.  Annoying as ****.
