Maestro intermittent XIT

With the latest 1.9.9 version of SmartSDR, I have noticed that occasionally XIT doesn't work on Maestro. Sometimes when I long-press the TX button to engage XIT, the XIT LED is illuminated but turning the VFO knob does nothing. If I restart Maestro then normal service is resumed.

As I often use XIT for working split DX stations, this is a bit of a pain and never happened with previous versions.

As an aside, it would also be useful if there was some sort of indication of the level of RIT/XIT offset on the display as if people are working 5-10up, I just have to guess what 5khz is.

Use Slice (VFO) B for working split rather than XIT

Hi Tim, yes I know that's the proper way to do it (and is exactly what I do if XIT doesn't work) but sometimes if I am using slice B to monitor another band/mode, XIT is easier to use to quickly go "split" (usually after the band police have "politely" chastised me!)

I was really flagging it as an issue and wanted to know if anybody else has seen this?

I can't reproduce the behavior you described.  If there is something more that might assist in reproducing it other than a long button press (and I assume you are releasing once the XIT indicator LED turns red), I'd like to know what it is.

Annoyingly neither can I now although I did say it was intermittent :) I will see if I can make it happen again...
