Maestro: fixed stand vs tilt feet

Would appreciate any info/photos from Maestro insiders on differentiating the Maestro fixed stand (included free) from the optional tilt feet ($90 extra). For fixed station operation, is the fixed stand sufficient or am I/we going to really want the tilt feet?
How about some close-up photos or video clearly showing the two options?
Thanks & 73,

I find both the fixed stand and the tilt feet to be sufficient for desktop operation. In addition to being able to adjust the tilt angle, the tilt feet have a wider stance and are heavier than the fixed tilt stand, so it is inherently a little bit more stable and has the added benefit of being able to be folded up flush against the back of the Maestro so that it mor easily fits is a carry (computer type) bag.0

Mine came with both the fixed stand and the tilt feet.
Fixed stand is OK if you NEVER plan to move the Maestro to a different location and want to just keep it standing in one place on your desktop
However, I have been using the Maestro all over my house so I found that the tilt feet were much better for me as I needed very different angles on the desktop, kitchen counter, by the pool or when lying on the couch watching TV with the XYL with the Maestro on the coffee table... I have also taken it out for a few remote demo's so the Tilt Feet were really handy so that my audience could see it...
My fixed stand is back in the shipping box and likely will never be used again.
