Hello,

in Maestro datasheet I read it can connect directly to FlexRigs.
I am wondering if this capability will be inside Maestro firmware or if this capability will be included in next FlexRig's firmware releases.

This connectivity is a function of the operating system running on the device to enable a link-local IP address to provide IP communication between the radio and Maestro.  It works exactly like a PC running SmartSDR for Windows.  No special firmware is required.

Thank a lot for your answer Tim,

but I am missing something else: if I can connect Maestro directly to my Flex-6300 it will be Maestro's OS to enable a link-local IP address. Which is Maestro OS?

    Maestro will use embedded Windows.

Ok, that was the missing part.
