I am afraid that the SmartSDR v1 major software version is feature complete and that no more additional feature functionality will be added to SmartSDR v1.

We ended up adding more feature functionality to v1.x that we had originally intended, so there was additional value provided that would have otherwise been in SmartSDR v2.  We needed to close out SmartSDR v1 and release SmartSDR v2 so that we could deliver on the long-awaited SmartLink functionality.

We realize that making a previous version feature complete and moving on to the next major version is not going to be popular with everyone who has chosen to stay on SmartSDR v1, but it is impossible to please everyone.

I recommend that you continue to look at the features being provided by SmartSDR v2 and hopefully, you will decide that there is value in upgrading to SmartSDR v2.
