Maestro connect issue after 1.9.7 upgrade

Setup here is 6500 connected by ethernet to Lynksys 6350 with default DHCP routing.  PC running via ethernet  to same router.  The Maestro is connected via WIFI to same router.  Everything was working fine this morning on 1.8.4 tests.  I then did the PC SSDR upgrade to 1.9.7  which went smoothly.  I restarted the 6500 and the radio upgrade went smoothly and I was able to connect with the PC at 1.9.7 happily and reloaded profiles..  perfect.  Then I shut down SSDR on the PC and powered up the Maestro,  selected and started the upgrade download and that all seemed to progress normally.  Once it was complete it prompted me to select a radio as normal but there was no radio to be seen.  I have restarted several times and reset the WIFI connection as well as rebooted the router and the Maestro still will not see the 6500.  I then thought the WIFI might be the issue so I started the Ipad with SSDR and it works perfectly on the same WIFI.

Any thoughts?

update...  something I didn't expect.  I tried connecting the Maestro directly to the 6500 with ethernet and it doesn't see it. The Maestro appears to not see the ethernet is plugged in and continues to try the WIFI.  I tried to figure a way to disable the WIFI by telling it to forget the connections.  Still nothing.  I connected the WIFI again and relogged into the router and still nothing.   Dazed and confused, can't think of anything else to try at this point.  :-)

I had an issue like that and all I did was reboot either my 65k or 67k, and it found it.

I've tried that multiple times Ed... It's got to be something simple I goofed up. The IPad came up and worked beautifully.. I bet Flex will have a a way I can redo the upgrade to the Maestro and it will be Ok. The same network worked like clockwork on 1.8.4. So it's got to be something wrong in the Maestro install.

Update! I shut down SSDR on the PC, powered down the radio and the Maestro for 20 minutes.  I then plugged in the AC supply for the Maestro just in case, rebooted the router again and then started everything back up.  First ran SSDR on PC and connection was fine, then I powered up the Maestro and it went through normal sequence and when the "select radio" screen came up there was the 6500!  I selected it and SSDR started fine only better.  I dropped and restarted the Maestro connection three times and it pops right up.  Perfect!  The router handed the same IP to the Maestro as it was using earlier..  best guess is something in the router finally let go  :-) I can't imagine plugging the Maestro into AC made any difference. I'm a happy camper except now I have to go work on outside chores.   Mike

I suspect that your battery was not providing enough power to fully energize the Ethernet interface.

Your might be right Tim..  1.9.7 looks like a winner here.  I wish I had more time to poke around and play with it.  Maestro comes up quicker and smoother now than it did in 1.8.4.  My compliments to the Chef!  Mike

After  installing the new software(19) Maestro won't connect to the Ethernet. Have it directly connected. Keep opening in wifi. My battery is not in the Maestro.

If you can't get it going in short order, I highly recommend that you open a HelpDesk support ticket (http://helpdesk.flexradio.com) so we can investigate this issue further.

After fooling around, found the problem. I had a new Verizon route that I connected a couple weeks ago. Switched back to my old Verizon router and everything is working great now.

I even brought the Maestro on WIFI  out to the pool where I was working (closing it up...  first frost last night :-(  ) and on beer breaks I used it to work several Europeans and stateside folks.  Amazing gadget..  What release is the voice recognition automatic logging going to be implemented ??

What's frost? ;-)

I'd be doing a happy dance just to see a high temperature below 90F.

We're back in the 70's today Tim. I still think my router coughed up a hairball!
