Maestro Battery Life

Even when properly cared for, a tablet battery won't last forever. I don't use my Maestro every day and had a problem yesterday that appears to have been solved by leaving the M plugged into power for 20 minutes or so. I try and remember to charge the M every so often, but it's not on a regular schedule.

What is the estimated lifetime of the internal tablet battery in an A series Maestro (mine is now about 4 years old) and what can be done when it finally wears out. I know M's can be returned to the factory if the battery has discharged to the point where the internal charger won't work, but what can be done when the battery completely expires? Do you have to replace the whole Maestro unit?

I think you will need to send in into FLEX and have them replace it.
