Maestro Battery Indicator

My Maestro has a battery indicator on it but it seems to indicate full charge all the times. Is it suppose to indicate the relative charge of the battery or just that it is present.

It does NOT indicate charge level

Just that the battery is present. Maestro has no way of knowing the size battery that is plugged in.

Some batteries have charge level indicators, built in. (Polanfo) Too bad you can't see them once the cover is snapped back into place.image

    Jay,
I am considering ordering a another  battery cover and making a slit to see the battery indicator; on the back of the Maestro.
BTW, I am also using Polanfo batteries, I like the size and weight: You could almost insert two of them inside the Maestro. And the price are more affordable than the  Mogix.I replaced.
