I have complained for a long time to Flex Radio about difficulty reading the SWR at the low end of the scale because of decreased red color vision.  Just finished installing SSDR version 2.3.7 and was very pleased that the illumination level of the SWR meter at the low end of the scale has been dramatically improved making it so much easier to see.  Although this may seem to be a trivial problem to most, one in eight males has a color deficiency, mostly with red-green. That is 12.5% of all males, so it is a significant number.

I have a Flex 6700 transceiver. I was first licensed in 1961 as a novice.  The 6700 is the best transceiver I have ever owned.  In the early years, I had a love/hate relationship with the radio, and there was a steep learning curve.  But the radio software has continually gotten better and continues to evolve.
