Lost my profile settings

The transmit EQ has reverted to Default. Can I retrieve my profile settings from the profiles window? Or any other way? Don't know why this happened as I saved the settings. The profile page indicates that my settings are as labeled but the EQ settings are actually at the default settings. I tried to reload but the EQ remains at default. Thanks for any help.

Can tell us what radio your using? In most cases you simply re call your saved profiles. The EQ settings are in the Mic profile.

Did you save the profiles. There is a tab for that . If you did there is also a restore button.

Then in that case, just restore the profiles you saved. If by any chance the EQ settings were lost then set up your EQ again and check all your settings and re save the profiles.

Bob, after you make and save your profiles, let me suggest you export your profiles to a thumb drive. That way if you loose something, you have a backup that can be restored. The export should be done frequently since we make and save profiles all the time and we do make mistakes.

Thanks Roy. Saving it sounds like a good idea. Can I do that on my 6400M since I am not hooked up through my computer?

Bob,
I run a 6500 that uses a computer. I don't have any experience with the radios that don't require a computer. However, I did read the "Users Manual" for the 6400M and could find no mention of exporting profiles.
I can only assume that you will have to connect to a computer running SmartSDR in order to be able to export your profiles to a backup location. Wish I could be of more help. There is of course, the help desk. Highly recommended.

The M models are designed so as to not be able to access the on board file system directly. So a computer connected to export your profiles is needed.

Thank you all for the replies. Probably operator error somewhere along the way. I can sort of remember approximately what I did so will start there and try to hone in on the quality I had.
