Loss of connection with radio

Using 6500 withV2 2.1.32 connected to PC via network switch. have been experiencing occasional loss of connection with radio. Needing to force radio shutdown from power button and reboot and then all works again.  I am finding that it is often happening when I leave everything running whilst away from the shack for an hour or two, ie during inactivity to come back and find the loss of connection message on the screen. Anyone else experience the same?

Try downgrading your SmartSDR to V 2.1.30 alot of people are having random lockups on 2.1.32 including myself went back to 2.1.30 and no more issues.

I have this issue with my 6600 still on v2.1.30.  I have never upgraded because of all the issues.  It only happens to me when not active for 1-2 hours straight.  I just close/open SSDR for windows again and take off. An annoyance, not a show stopper.

It will be interesting to see what SW version I will have when my radio is returned from warranty service.  Loud clunk (not a pop) in the radio this morning on power-up and now it will not power on.  I have had it for one month and one day. UPS will soon have the radio.

BTW, I've had a ball with the radio. Cost/QSO was decreasing rapidly until this morning.

Maybe in the power settings in the computer? turn all of them off.
