Kessler/Palstar AT-AUTO and Flex 6XXX Cable Question

I ordered two cables in a set for my Kessler/Palstar AT-AUTO back when I had my Icom. One cable was RS-232 on both ends and is for firmware upgrades. The other cable had Icom's tuner connection and a CI-V connection on one end and a 5 pin DIN connection on the other, this was for tuner control by the radio.

For use with my Flex 6500 and the new SmartSDR USB features do I connect to the tuner at the RS-232 connection or the 5 pin DIN connection?

Chris,

I use two of the tuners directly from the Flex radio USB port. I am using this cable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01... into the 9 pin serial port. Let me know if you need the Flex configuration settings but they are very standard. These have worked successfully for about two months on v1.10.
