That's cool, Dale. Can you post a link to the exact model you purchased? Feeding "Pipo 8" to Google returns a number of different models.

The PIPO mini-PC's are nice.  I was having some sound and port conflicts on my main PC between SmartSDR and my port connections for a Wires-X interface and DStar DVAP Dongle.  I moved my Wires-X Interface and DStar DVAP over to a PIPO X9 mini-PC and freed up the ports on my main PC for SmartSDR.  Everything is working nice now.  The PIPO X9 is a dual OS PC; Windows 10 and Android 4.4, available with a 32 or 64 gb solid state hard drive.

If you remember my post, never intended to run flex on it. Bought for my Go kit to run RMS EXPRESS and digital programs and a logging programs. This is just a perk. This is a 12 volt unit no internal battery. I will enjoy playing with it and I have found a place for one in my King Rancher as soon as 2.0 hits!

Also there is a hdmi output so if you need a larger screen you can stream to a monitor.

Ok nice to play with. Vseems to play ok I did leave it for a good while and came back said lost connection , I am not a win 8 person but probably a setting need to turn off something. The best thing about it working is another example that flex got it right. After they went back and rebuilt the software from the bottom up the need for upper end computers went away. It makes me smile because here I am running a all in.one computer costing $100 playing my flex 6500 with multiple slices. Now this is not the way you want to run all day or night, the 26 inch HD monitor X three is better but think we will have the option of pulling out any windows based machine and linking with our Flex 6000 over the wan. This makes me more excited to get 2.0 than ever. In fact I have a spot in my F150 King Rancer ready to mount one of these. Well done Flex!
