I finally decided to run a 2nd instance of WSJT-X and JTAlert to get ready for the Bouvet DX-pedition.

It works well, once I changed the UDP address for the 2nd instance of WSJT-X.

My Probem is that the 2nd instance is not sending the logging information to ACLog.

The first instance works fine.

The 2nd instance sends the call to ACLog while I am working a station, but it doesn't sent the time, reports, or wnything else.

It doesn't give me the automatic "Log QSO" window.

And when I hit the LOG QSO Button in WSJT-X , it doesn't do anythng either.

The 2nd instance of JTAlert won't let me open any settings, either.

What am I missing?

Don't know what I did, but it is working now.
Probably had an error dialog or buried log screen that didn't get closed and was keeping things from working.....

A restart of both instances of both programs seemed to clear things up....

It's nice to play FT8 on two bands at once!

Just as a FYI to anyone that is doing this, be aware you cant make JTAlert settings changes or scan log for updates with more than one instance running. You need to close all instances except first instance started and then make the change and reopen the others.  Glad you got it working Ken.
