Is there a way to change the 6500's ip address without running SmartSDR?

I had a fixed IP address assigned to my Flex 6500 that was going to one router in my two router daisy chain.  I was having an issue where nearly every time I want to run SmartSDR 2.0.19, I need to power cycle the second router.  I thought, perhaps,  by assigning the Flex  a fixed IP address  to the second router, I might resolve the issue, but now I find I can't connect at all and need to reset the fixed IP address on the Flex back to what it was.  However, since I can't connect I can't reassign the IP address.  Is there a way to directly connect to the Flex to reassign the IP address without needing to do the hard reset?  It wouldn't be too big a deal, but I would hate to have to redo my profiles.
Thanks and 73,

If you do a reset to factory defaults, it clears the statically assigned IP address and reverts back to DHCP.
