Is Smart Cat Supported in the installed software on M Series

Is Smart Cat installed on the M series with the installed operating panel and will the M series be able to use CAT Commands thru the Ethernet Port on the unit?

I can see developing a software keypad macro program based on CAT commands thru the Ethernet port to create a button macro facility if it does.

Thanks,

CAT is always installed on the PC and connects to the radio via the network.  That is where the programs you use that are CAT enabled run, so the CAT interface runs there too.

No programs are allowed to be installed on the radio.

And if you want to control the radio, CAT is not the method of choice because it is very limited in scope.  Use the network API.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
