Input power and Audio Question

Two Questions. 1.) What is the power drain in TX mode? The power meter reads 100+ watts and the amp meter on the Astron RS-35M only shows about 12 Amps. 2.) I have the Heil PR781 Mic with 3 pin XLR to TRS Male plugged into the balanced Audio input in the back of the unit do I need the ACC ON or the Bias ON? I also can see no difference between the BAL and LINE setting.

Robert, 1) My power supply read about 20 amps at 100watts out in tune.. Which is about what all 100 watt out rigs should read.. You might have a metering problem with the astron ? My astrons have all had suspect amp meter readings. 2) You do not need to have ACC on to use the BAL or LINE inputs.. ACC ON is if your using the line in on the ACC Connector. Can't help with the rest of your question. AL, K0VM

I'm suspect of the meters' accuracy, too, but it does seem the supply isn't laboring in the least (RS-35M also).
