Importing profiles removes XVTR settings

I recently started working on getting ready the 6700 for Satellite operation (at least until I get the transverters). I installed FlexSATPC and thanks to Dave (W0DHB) I have made some progress getting it to play nice with SatPC32 and Log4OM.

One of the settings for this setup to work requires the creation of Global profiles for the different SATs. Dave was gracious enough to offer a set of profiles that you can import into your Flex saving me a ton of extra work.

Instead of "Select All" on the Import menu I selected individually the specific profiles I wanted to import.

I made sure I didn't select "Preferences" or "TNF". I did select "XVTR" as I imagined that the Transverter Band will be tie to the Global profiles (It is).

The surprise was that the Global, TX and MIC profiles MERGED with my profiles, however, the XVTR one deleted my XVTR settings and replaced them with the ones from the imported file. This wasn't a big issue as I only had 2 XVTR maps (UHF one and a 23cm one). They both disappeared to be replaced by one called "70cm" which was imported from the .ssdr_cfg file.

I tried importing my previous profile selecting XVTR only and same thing. The new XVTR map disappeared and I got the 2 I had before.

I don't think this is the correct behavior... it makes more sense that the import will MERGE new profiles or XVTR maps and REPLACE that ones with the same name and not delete any of them. Right?

XVTR settings are not profiles; it is a radio state configuration.  What ever is imported will overwrite the existing XVTR configuration.  Same is true for Preferences.

Thanks Tim. Would it make sense for it to behave like the profiles? Would it even be possible?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
