I'm considering upgrading to a 6700.

I have a new 6500, as in new to me but purchased from Flex as a refurbished model. I'm considering upgrading to a 6700. What would the diff in cost be? My 6500 has been turned on but, never used as I'm still assembling my antenna and awaiting the delivery of new coax.

I guess what I'm asking is what is the resale value of a 6500 and what is the cost of a new or used 6700?

Used prices on 6500's are running in the approximate range of $2600 to $3200.  Used prices on 6700's are running somewhere around $5700.  New prices can be found on FRS website.

Thank you. I believe I'll love my 6500 with no need to upgrade for quite a while.
