I just purchased a used Maestro and when I turn it on the display is sideways. I have it plugged into my home network so it finds my 6600M Radio.
If the radio is on it will prompt me to disconnect user. I hit the disconnect button the screen on the radio disconnects. Then the Maestro prompts me to connect to my 6600M. It then displays
the screen where you select the software version but since the screen is displayed sideways I cannot see the version numbers. All I see is the Green Up Arrows. If I hit the one that should be on the top of the list nothing happens, if I hit any of the others it prompts me to Upgrade the radio.  Thats as far as I can get.  Any ideas what's wrong???

Did you read the manual?   Page 170 - item 34.7 "Maestro starts up in portrait mode"   There is an easy fix.

mine starts up in landscape mode always.  Never seen one start in portrait mode.  Mine is a Maestro A.  Did you buy it from Flex? Give them a call, very helpful people.

I finally  the Maestro booted up with the screen in Landscape mode and everything started to look normal. I have the unit connected to my in house Lan Network and when the screen comes up it shows my Flex 6600M.  I click on my 6600M want to know if it want it to Disconnect. I hit disconnect and the screen on the radio disconnects.  Then I hit connect on the Maestro and it takes me to the page where you select what software version you want to run. I select the top one which is version 2.4.9 which is what Im running on the radio. Then it says Maestro Internal Software Updating (Step 4 of 4)  Please wait....
Then it just sits there and never goes any further and never boots up.

Now what???
