I am having problems with my 6600 connecting with SmartSDR CAT

The radio is a Flex 6600.
The software is 2.1.30
SmartSDR CAT window is showing Radio Not Connected
Last night while on 40m in the FT8 part of the band DAX was sending information to WSJT-X
Currently, DAX is showing not connected
If I connect to my Flex 6500, SmartSDR CAT and DAX Streams function normally
Maybe I missed something in startup
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think this is the first posting of a 6600 (issue). You must be one of the very first new radio recipients!

GM Alan,

I believe you are right.  I was at the Flex Banquet on May 18th last year when they unveiled these new radios   Went to Xenia (Dayton) the next morning and ordered one.  It worked great on SSB last night!

I suspect that your 6500 connection to CAT is being persisted.  

In the text, "Radio Not Connected", right mouse click to get the boot menu.  Uncheck the On Start... and Autostart... options.  Shut down CAT, restart it and select the 6600 from the chooser.

DAX is a little different.  You have to use a filter file or make sure the 6500 is not powered on when you start DAX or it will connect to the first radio it sees.

well what about the 6600  i just got the rig follow the quick setup guide and it wont even boot up green light blinks and then three red flashes my 6500 was the best
and the 5000 man was standing by the door all day Friday so i can have a two day with my new toy but instead had to change plans and spent it with my granddaughter but she worked flawlessly
