How do I to get auto band switching on a THP HL-1.5KFX amp when hooked to a Flex 6300?

This amp has inputs for Icom, Yaesu and Kenwood band control. It does not have an RF sensing mode to automatically set the band. Thanks, Doug WB5TKI

    Doug,
Flex uses the Kenwood CAT command protocol.  So if the HL-1.5K can follow Kenwood I would think that it could follow Flex but the 6300 does not output RS-232 directly. You may need to use DDUtil as a interface between Flex and the HL-1.5K but I do not know if anyone has done that.. Check with K5FR and the DDUtil reflector ( DDUtil@yahoogroups.com )
