How we get feedback from Help Desk?

Many times we get: 

Official Response
We are working this issue via the HelpDesk

and then thread is CLOSED by FRS.: This conversation is no longer open for comments or replies.


Where i can read/follow what is the real final result, what is answer/result of the Help Desk? Is it solved? Still we are out.

Youngest case: FLEX-6500 doesn't work after updating to the version 1.6.17

Should we reopen the every thread every time again till a answer is published? There are 9 followers, they interested to get a answer! 

FRS if you close a thread, please add always a link (or case number) where we can follow the Help Desk answer.

Chris, I have placed several requests and works with Dudley, he was very punctual and correct., no issues with help desk. All requests was closed with my suggestions.

Sergey, yes it is OK. But my questions for example is: if YOU open a new thread and i want follow to get at the end also the answer/info and FRS move this thread to help desk and close the thread. I AM OUT!! 
You will get the result/answer from help desk! And me?

This is strange, in my chain always i am was initiator of closing TR.
