CWSkimmer requires using SDR-Bridge to ensure that the panadapter and the slices track properly.  http://www.qrv.com/sdrbridge.html

Here is the link to the quickstart and troubleshooting guide

Not sure you can use both with a different digital mode program like DM780.

Thanks Tim you are always on line to help colleges . You know

First : I was working in order to work CW with SmartSDR and DM780 ( Winkey ) and I get it finally. Success. So bliss...

Second : I know what your are talking about (using SDR brdige )  but I remember that, with another computer, I used some VSP program peer to peer to improve it . I do not know if it could be possible with SmartSDR.

What do you thinking about ?

SDR-Bridge does not use a VSP.  It communicates with the radio entirely by TCP/IP using the API.

You can run SDR-Bridge and CWSkimmer on a different PC from the one you use for SmartSDR for Windows.  You just have to load SmartSDR for Windows on it so that you have DAX installed for transferring the DAXIQ audio from the radio to CWSkimmer.
