How to clear RIT on Maestro

Using Maestro 2.4.9.  I know how to turn on the RIT and how to get VFO-B knob to be the adjustment for the RIT frequency.  But, how do we: 1. Clear the RIT offset to zero, and 2. Turn off the RIT?  The only way I can find to turn off the RIT is to hit RX button for VFO-A to turn off the slice and then hit it again to turn the slice on.  I wonder if the receiver responds to a CAT command to clear the RIT?  With some other rigs, you can cause N1MM to send a command to clear the RIT offset when a QSO is logged.

I tried inserting a CAT command in an N1MM function key to reset the RIT to zero offset and that does work.  The command is: {CAT1ASC RC;}    That command clears the RIT offset but leaves RIT enabled.

Push in on  the tuning knob to zero the RIT frequency and then long press on the RX button to turn the function off.  You can long press the RX button to turn the RIT off, however, the RIT offset stays on.
