One of the purchasing criteria we established when FlexRadio selected user community engagement software was strict privacy/security of user account information and their contractual commitment not to sell or share that information with third-parties. GetSatisfaction met those requirements.
As an enterprise grade platform Get Satisfaction is a considerable heads & shoulders above the typical php BBS, Yahoo Group or similar platform.
That said, if you post it, it is public.
And a certain amount of capture is desirable - most Get Satisfaction communities are search engine accessible, which definitely is "capture."
Wouldn't put your Bank Account numbers here, or your private keys, or insight into your personal password hash, but it would seem you have less to worry about than most on-line public collabative platforms.
Wondering if we will see improvements to the community with Get Satisfaction's buy out by Sprinklr?
