How long should it take for FlexVSP to configure?

I'm working on installing the software for a new Flex 6600. (No Flex software has been installed before).  The installers gets as far as "Please wait while Windows configures FlexRadio Systems FlexVSP). At this point, the system accesses the CD drive from time to time but seems to make no other progress (been running for about 10 minutes now) - should it take this long, or is it hung up?

Not long.  But, I would go to the website and download the software. Forget what is on the CD.

You will have a choice of versions.  I have not had many issues with the latest version but others have and are running the previous.

Rich - I think you are exactly right... I will try that next.  What I did in the meantime was reboot and then run the installer.msi (in Program files); this said it did the same FlexVSP config, but completed quickly. When I ran SmartSDR the first time, it required me to do an update which just completed.  We'll see what happens next...    -73- Bill, AB4EJ

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
