I can't figure out how to run split with the 6700 using FT8.  I'm sure it can be done.  Any help appreciated.

It’s all done in the WSJT software... just click on the Hold TX Freq. on the monitor screen now click on whatever station you want to receive and you are working split.... has nothing to do with the 6700

Split as in split operation to shift the TX passband? Use “fake it.”

Fake It shifts the transceivers frequency during transmit to keep the transmitted signal within the 1000 to 2000 Hz bandpass. Example, you are transmitting on 2215, the transmit freq would whift 1 KHz higher and the radio would actually be transmitting 1215 Hz. This is more important with older transmitters which have narrow transmit passband. Dave wo2x
