How do I monitor my own voice in my headphones while transmitting?

I have a RadioSport over-the-ear headset connected to my Flex 6300 using both the MIC and PHONES jacks. It works fine in that others can hear me and I can hear others, but I can't hear myself while transmitting. Interestingly, I can hear my CW transmissions in the headset. Just not voice.

Years ago, I spent some time behind a microphone at a radio station. I wore a headset and I could hear myself (and everyone else) clearly through the headset. Now I feel like a deaf person when I'm talking. I almost have to guess what I sound like as I'm taking.

I feel like there must be a simple button, slider or setting that I just don't know about.

Try the mon button in the panel, the same panel that your mic gain is in. It also has a volume control so you can adjust your monitor audio.

And if you turn the MON on and move the phone slider all the way to the right,,full,,, At the top right of your screen, you can use the MON slider to adjust the MON volume.

    Thank you both!
I simply had both the MIC and MON levels set too low!
