New iMAC, new install of Parallels in trial mode, new install of Windows 10 done by Parallels.   I tried to download the SSDR software several times and I got the error that it could not be downloaded after watching the progress count up to 100%.  On a whim I tried to RUN not save the installer and it worked.   When I run SSDR  I get a window telling me that it cannot find a radio.  I can browse the web on Win10.  Maestro connected to the same switch sees the 6500 and connects just fine.  Ed KC4YLX

You need to set Parallels to bridge mode so it has the same ip subnet as the radio (thanks Howard! :-)

My best PC for SmartSDR is my iMac!

Thank you Jean-Luc!  I finally had to uninstall Parallels and reinstall.  Then I seleted bridge mode and I was able to get things to work.   Thank you very much.

I have one funny thing happening.   I cannot download and save the installer for SmartSDR.  I always got a incomplete file error.   I finally tried to RUN the file not save it and everything worked.   Got any idea about that?

I don't know why it would do that, but I always download the entire file from Safari/MacOS and then drag it into W10 and have never had a problem. I can't imagine why it wouldn't download properly in windows...

I have no susch behavior with Parallels. For max performance I am disable any automatic updates and installations
what have some time have priority .
Also recommend follow with this tip - https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-...
and set MTU=9000 on MAC Ethernet adapter

Ed do you have similar behavior with SSDR download on MAC OS ?

You are welcome Ed. No such behavior here, but honestly I don't download many files with Parallels, for logging I am using the great program MacLoggerDx from https://www.dogparksoftware.com/.

Implementation with my Flex6500 is very good, main screen of the iMac 27 for SmartSDR and a second screen for MacLoggerDx et voilà!
