high temp on 6700

Is it possible the temp sensors in the 6700 could either be reporting a wrong reading which is causing the fans to turn on sporadically? Setting up for the Salmon Run this morning and I notice when the fans kick on the temp reading on DDUtil is about 169 degrees C...when they shut off it reads 28 degrees. Seems like a huge swing and I cannot imagine the radio operating anything over 80 degrees C. Thanks Greg AB7R

This may be a temperature sensor issue. I have converted this topis to a HelpDesk ticket for further investigation
