I cleaned up the hard drive.
I watched the Bears win against Green Bay, an archrival
I watched the Cubs win their FIRST playoff games in gosh knows how long.

Cleaned up another hard drive.
Installed two more Security Cameras around my home.
Didn't really need them but had them in the box so I might as well put them to use.

Told the wife that I'm available for Honey Do's she wants before bad Chicago winter weathers sets in.

Fought with ComCast for over an hour about why they blocked emails containing a simple RMA number. End result was a serious waste of time which I expected.

My Lord life is Pretty Bleak with out a Flex in your shack.

But Judy did ask why I never got myself a spare.  HMMMM

Ha! I have two backups, but not Flex's. Have an IC-706 (horrible receiver, 100w output) and a TenTec Argonaut VI (terrific receiver 10 W output) Neither is a Flex, but any port in a storm (so to speak.)

I can sympathize.  If my Flex was down I'd have to bring the FT817 in out of the Jeep.  I hate the thought of reverting to knob radios....maybe I need a 1500 here just as a backup.

    I feel your pain!

My Flex 6700 has been out to visit Austin Tx for the past 2 1/2 weeks and I find myself suffering severe Flex SSDR withdrawal. I could use my backup Icom IC-7100, but how can I go back to no panadapter, and one frequency at a time? Bah humbug!

I have been spoiled by my Flex 6700!

Thankfully, UPS should return it to its QTH tomorrow.
