Want to share with the group a microphone I recently added to my station.
It is an Audio-technica MB 2K. It comes with a XLR  cable and directly plugs into the back of my 6700. It sounds great (lots of positives) and feels great in the hand.
The fit and finish is far better than any of the Heils I have used at over twice the price. It is normally $50 but I got it for $35 on E-Bay.
It is a perfect addition for we when I want to work with a hand mic instead of my RadioSport RS60 head set.,

Audio-Technica makes some very good microphones,  I have no use for a handheld, but I get very good reports, for the few SSB contacts I make, with my AT-3035 studio boom mike that i used to use for music gigs.  It does require an external phantom-power supply, however.

Good info Gene. I use an Audio Technica  ATR-1300 on a Heil boom  with great success on my 6300   Well made...great sound and very reasonably priced ! ($20.00 Amazon)    Also comes with a nice long XLR cable and mount for boom / stand.  I simply cut the XLR off and wired a Foster for the front panel of the 6300     Good mic... Great value.
