Don't get old guys. It took me almost 5 hours to get my radio back working with all the automatic band, mode changes I'd developed over the years.
I just can't remember all those settings. And of course if one lousy box isn't clicked on one of the setting pages, then the entire program just sits there staring at you waiting.
Software writers should put in a time limit, if you haven't entered some setting correctly it should do a virtual head slap and tell you what to change it to.

Mine today was not remembering what PC was called when I first installed the program.
And of course it doesn't give you hints. LOL
I do screen shots of every setup page.
Of course then the big question is....

lIKE I said guys...don't get old, it really sucks.......

It just about beats the alternative. I also take screenshots of my setup pages, stored in a folder based on the name of the program, the settings of which I am saving. Screenshot programs used here are WinSnap and ScreenPresso - latter has a free version, but paid for a licence.

In response to the title only "Getting Old Sucks" it beats the alternative
A fun reply, but I know what your saying I have  notebooks going back years but can't remember the right one to look in. I have started using One Note and notes in MS Outlook.
It's like it all needs to be digitized and the the google search engine attached.

And I thought memory loss was a problem unique to me.

It's nice to know I'm in company with other older Hams who suffer the same affliction. hi Hi.

Too late, I'm pretty sure they are all getting old, some are even getting very old.
It's a problem, no solution once you got that problem. We are born to fail at some point. Enjoy the ride. It only lasts a little while. You only get to ride it once.
