Getting my Flex 6500 licensed ahead of release of version 2.0.  I would like to be licensed so that when I download it, it will be installed.

An earlier post explained that buying early would slow down the process.

there will be a method to buy the license at time of install of 2.0 software. You do not need to pre-purchase the license.

Please DO NOT buy a license now. The license may have inadvertently ended up available for purchase while the development team tests cart integration. Buying your license now WILL require manual intervention from sales, as you will have to call them. It will actually be SLOWER than waiting for the release and purchasing your license via the automatic process.

    Thanks Marv.

The goal is for things to be seamless and automatic. You upgrade then purchase a license in one flow. This way sales doesn't have to manually issue licenses. They want it so that if Friday night at 11 pm while Matt and team are sound asleep or partying somewhere, you can buy a license and have it apply to your rig immediately as soon as your credit card is charged. It's a better experience all around than slamming them with phone calls :) This is also why it's not advisable to purchase your license now.
