Gerald Youngblood K5SDR will be making a presentation to the combined Hill Country Amateur Radio Club (HCARC) and Kendall Amateur Radio Society (KARS) this Thurs day night at 7pm at Buzzies BBQ.  If you are a San Antonio, TX regional Ham or even a winter Texan, and would like to hear Gerald speak, then plan to be in attendance and enjoy great BBQ.

Our thanks go out to Gerald Youngblood for taking time out of his busy schedule to meet with our clubs last evening. His presentation on “Utilizing the Latest SDR Capabilities” helped us to better understand the state-of-the art in amateur radio SDR. The demo of the remote capabilities the new Flex 6600M and SmartLink was also quite impressive.

    John,

Gerald's presentation last night was video'd and I am waiting at this time to see it.  Once screened, and with Gerald's permission we will figure out how to get it on the internet.
