Just as with any other rig, turning the noise blanker or wide and noise blanker up too high in the presence of very strong signals will compromise the dynamic range of the rig.

WNB can “pump” with strong signals, especially if they have sharp transitions (key clicks or overdrive). If you turn the control down a little, the pumping will stop.

NB will distort. In the presence of the same signals, just like any other NB.
