What have you tried so far?  Is there a particular problem you're running into?

I have installed FreeDV on my Win 8.1 computer and rebooted several times. Free DV does appear as an installed application but  "FDV" does not show up in the Mode Selector window.  I have a Plantronics USB headset/mic plugged in.  What am I missing?  Thanks and 73

Bill, FreeDV is installable waveform which is downloadable from Flex radio Systems. Click on Support and Downloads. Here you will see a selection for SmartSDR for Windows. Click on it. Then you will see a Waveform selection, click on it. There you will see the installer for Free DV. Download it an install it in your SSDR folder. Now you should see FDV as a selection in Mode selection.

Got it working.  Thanks.  Still have some more learning to do but right off the bat, I listened to crystal clear DV on 14.236.  Amazing!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
