I get a popping sound during transmit which also shows an increase in power. It noticeable on panadapter and I hear the pop on a separate receiver. I am using a 6300 with 1.73 and latest freedv. It did the same popping sound with previous freedv waveform. It does not happen in any other mode. Jay n2gq

I'd like to hear if anyone else can confirm this behavior to determine if this is an isolated incident or something systemic.

    Hi Tim
It seems like I also get the popping sound in receive as well as the transmit. I tried on another computer to be certain.
