FlexRadio software on Windows 10 on parallels on MacBook Pro cannot find my 6300

I have a new to me MacBook Pro, with Windows 10 loaded over parallels. Downloaded software for my FlexRadio 6300 version 1.5, but am not getting the radio image recognized on the software opening window. I had been using another laptop just fine many months, but not so easy yet on the Mac. Where to look to get the Mac to see the 6300?

I am not sure about Parallels but in VMWare fusion you have several network modes. One mode, the default is NAT which means your computer acts like a server and gives out an IP address to the VMWare VM.  This mode does not work as your VM is not on the correct subnet.

In VMWare the mode to use is called "Bridged" and what that does is to set the network card to connect like it is a real computer on the same lan.  Once you do this SSDR should see your radio.
