I am using a Flex 6300 running version 2.3.9.  I've started fooling with the RFGain controls in FlexLib and have a few questions.
1.  I can't see that the RFGain for the slice has any effect at all.  What is this?
2.  I take it that the RFGain for the panadapter is what's often referred to as the antenna gain.  Is this correct?
3.  On my 6300, the only values for the panadapter RFGain that seem to matter are 0 and 20.  All other values are ignored.    This is regardless of the RFGainStep value.

Note that I'm using an application that uses FlexLib.  I am not using SmartSDR.

Jim,

I think the preferred way to handle the RFGain for a Slice would be to use the Slice.Panadapter.RFGain Property.

Also, take a look at the RFGainLow, RFGainHigh, and RFGainStep properties in the Panadapter.  These help define the available settings by radio model.

Thanks Eric.  I thought this was probably rig dependent.
