FlexControl when operating remotely

I'm delighted with 1.4.  I'm sure there are many more aspects to discover yet, but as soon as I installed it I noticed how smoothly tuning has become (mouse or FlexControl).  Before, the display used to go crazy.  I even upgraded my PC's graphics card in the hope that would improve matters (it didn't!).  Even on my sluggish laptop the display is first rate - I'm sure that wasn't easy for the programmers to achieve, especially when having to be economical with the amount of data on the network.

Tuning when using DDUtil isn't nearly as smooth, so I assume some work has to be done to improve that aspect of what is a fantastic piece of software.

A question regarding FlexControl:  can it be used on the remote computer?  I tried connecting it to a USB port but although Windows makes the usual sound when a device is plugged in, under settings/FlexControl it says the FlexControl is not detected.  It is enabled under Settings/Radio Setup.  Any ideas?

Yes.  It behaves no differently when using LAN Remote to redirect the audio to your PC.  If it isn't working, you probably have a com port conflict..  Refer to the following for guidance in resolving com port conflicts https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/202479329-How-to-Change-the-Com-Port-Assignment-for...
